Kaplowe Studios was founded in 1988 by Mark Kaplowe. Mark learned his craft of radio advertising at WYBC, the Yale radio station back in 1976. He went on to a career in radio broadcasting in New Haven for the next 10 years, and found radio commercial production to be the most satisfying part of his work.
In 1987, Mark went to New York as a voice over artist and spent the next 12 years learning television advertising from some of the largest advertising agencies in the world. Mark’s voice could be heard on national TV commercials for Red Lobster, Betty Crocker, Zest, Minwax, McDonalds, Butterfinger and other major advertisers. He was also chosen as the signature voice of the HBO networks!
